Our Kindergarten Graduation Party w/Chalkola

Now that the school year is done, we decided to make the start of summer official by having a small ice cream party for the kids! This is something that my daughter specifically asked for, so we set aside a day that worked for us and my parents, and we threw something together.

I do want it to be known that typically a party like this would have been done up much cuter under different circumstances. My son (4) hasn’t been sleeping for the last week, which has led to hours of tears and arguing in the middle of the night. Due to the fatigue I experienced as a result of this, I didn’t put together the party I had planned.

Fortunately my daughter (6) didn’t seem to mind, or even notice.

We had a small “ceremony” a few days prior where we handed both kids diplomas for pre-kinder and kindergarten, as it applied – while Pomp and Circumstance played, of course! So now that the diplomas have been given, and the ice cream has been eaten, we can declare it SUMMER!

These cute, free diplomas were downloaded from Pinterest. If you like them, I’ll do you the favor of just attaching the download here so that you don’t have to scroll through pages of ads to get there.

Thanks to Chalkola for gifting us the cutest chalk markers! They worked like a dream, and I can’t wait to decorate this board later for my son’s birthday AND fourth of July!

If you’re interested in getting your own board and markers, check out their Amazon store and use my code JESSA10 for 10% off!

I will also be hosting a Chalkola giveaway over on my Instagram, so be sure to give me a follow there and enter for your chance to win one free Chalkola product of your choice!

A big thanks goes to my parents, too, for coming over and making the party feel like a big to-do for both kids! We’re thankful to have my parents close by to participate in fun celebration like this!

Did your kids “graduate” from their grade level this month??
