I know a lot of people who, for whatever reason, prefer not to use medicine for a variety of ailments. I also know people who highly recommend medication because of the results they've personally seen in their own lives. I chose medicine. Because? There's nothing to feel guilty about for choosing less pain.

The Christmas Season With Estranged Family
I grew up spending Christmas with lots of family. On Christmas Eve, aunts, uncles, and cousins would come together to open presents with my grandpa and step-grandma; later on Christmas Day, that same group of family would spend dinner opening presents at my grandma's house. My immediate family spent the morning of Christmas together with … Continue reading The Christmas Season With Estranged Family
I’m not the happy mom I thought I’d be.
I'm not the happy mom. I always thought I would be that mom whose smile beams every time she sees her baby, and who can't stop talking about how fulfilled motherhood makes her. Maybe at first I was that mom. But not anymore. I'm not the happy mom. I see myself more as the frustrated … Continue reading I’m not the happy mom I thought I’d be.
Choosing a Therapist for Your Child
Even though I'm very "pro therapy" I wasn't prepared for my son to be seeing a therapist at the age of 5. Living Faith The Size Of A Mustard Seed
As I was driving to work today, the radio hosts were talking about a question that came in from someone asking "what do I do when I start to question my faith?" Products I Use For My Anxiety
This last year, I've been desperately trying to find products that complement my medication in relieving my physical symptoms of anxiety. (In case you're interested, I currently take Zoloft for my anxiety, daily, along with Klonapin as needed. I try to refrain from taking it as much as possible.) I suffer from anxiety and panic … Continue reading Products I Use For My Anxiety
3 Ways To Help Your Friend With Anxiety
For years now I’ve struggled with keeping my panic attacks under control.
